SWEET MEMORIES OF ONOME 11

As soon as she finished her shower and beauty regime,i went out to drop her and her friend who was spending the weekend at ONOME'S house but made sure to get down and see her mum to greet her and assure her everything was ok, afterwards i dropped my other friend off and returned home..even though
my brothers were making noise about the success of their party as far as i was concerned i was the only or main person who had gained the most from their party,i was feeling cool when i got back home especially knowing my brothers knew of my sexual liaisons with ONOME..

Everything returned back to normal,my dad came back and my brothers went back to school while the love between me and ONOME was waxing stronger hardly any day came without us at least speaking for like 10minutes on the phone and texting each other but the problem was always that we could not spend any more time together,now that she has been to my house and i have been to hers she now managed to sneak out for like an hour or so mostly on saturdays to hang out at my house although we didn't do much than just smooching but no actual sex,even though a lot of times we were moved sexually but it was either people were at home or the time was short for us to do anything,this was frustrating for both of us especially after how we both enjoyed the first time when she slept over after the party at my house.My memory of that time is not too clear but i think this incident with ONOME was a couple of months before i moved to my uncle's place and met NEVO..during the relationship between me and ONOME we both finished secondary school and the school cert examinations and then went for the break (i did the Gcse examinations where i met ONOME while i was still in ss3 before my school certificate exam waec)
During the break after the examinations,as you know everyone mostly was busy having fun as well as preparing for higher institution of their choice,i was up to different adventures parties and all sorts during this time but my love and affection for ONOME was unwavering and i was always there for her anytime she needed me its just that the overnight sex we had unleashed all the hidden lust and sexual tensions i was suppressing.Apart from this i was also a regular visitor to ONOME'S house now that her mum knows and trusts me,one of the times i was there a lady arrived in their house with all of them all shouting and greeting her like a long lost relative,Onome and her brother were really excited and rushed outside the house to meet her as soon as the car parked with their mum standing at the doorway leading outside the compound,eventually the car parked and the woman was ushered in with ONOME and her brother and their maid helping to carry the woman's bag inside the house as soon as she came inside and saw me i quickly stood up and greeted her respectfully but she greeted me enthusiastically hugging me warmly and then looking at ONOME'S mum asking who is this charming young man ? everyone  then replying that i was ONOME'S "Friend" with a knowing smile,and both i and ONOME almost sinking inside the floor with embarrassment she turned back at me and said she was ONOME'S aunty..
I spent a couple of hours more with them,mostly just watching tv and contributing when the aunty asked me a direct question,even though i only met her that day she was one of these adults who loved children  and was young at heart,she discussed current issues with us and also had a laid back and pleasant personality before i knew it all of us were chatting and laughing like long lost friends what i like most about her was the way she addressed us as if she was a youth like us,eventually i had to take my leave and then went back home.I could not see ONOME the next day but i called her on the phone and while we were gifting generally i asked after her really cool aunty and she told me that she had gone out for a family meeting with her mum which was her reason for coming to their house.

A couple of days later ONOME excitedly called me on the phone and informed me that her aunty just left for her own house but after giving her an exciting news..according to her the aunty was the organiser and patron of an anglican church youth empowerment weekend club and amongst the many activities she organises for them they organise parties,beach trips and several other activities it just so happens that the next outing for her church youth she was organising was for 2 weeks to the day she came to ONOME'S house for the visit hence she not only invited ONOME to the next beach party/outing,get together of sorts and asked her to invite me and a couple of her friends as well..Personally i was not too excited about the idea of a church get together because of the picture and imagination i had conjured up of how things will likely turn out i knew the whole thing will be of us gathering in one corner of the beach running up and down and singing gospel songs and listening to gospel music eating jollof rice and non alcoholic drinks no alcohol,no good music and you certainly cannot even kiss or hold your girlfriend so what is the point..however due to ONOME'S excitement i didn't want to damped her mood so i pretended i was excited as well asking some questions without even paying attention to the answers she was giving me..in my mind i was thinking of a good excuse not to go on the day but i consoled myself that i still had a week plus in which to perfect and deliver a proper lie to avoid going with her to the get together.

If i had known what would happen at the get together and my experience there i would have had a totally different mind set and till today there is no day i would see,read or hear any reference being made to that beach that i would not remember one of my most memorable saturdays with ONOME.

I am sorry i would not be divulging the name of the beach in question because a number of people will definitely pick up on it and realise what me and ONOME did on the day which would be a little bit embarrassing especially for her.

As the days went by,i tried to rack my brain and think of any lie to extract myself from the beach get together with ONOME but each time she  called me or i called her and she excitedly talked about it my conscience will fail me and i would not be able to go through with the lie..besides everyone i mentioned this too especially a friend of mine who has been to the church before told me to keep an open mind as the youth gatherings isn't all religious,i was not all sure but after like a week plus and only a couple of days to the party and i still have not being able to get myself off i resolved to go with her and suffer the boredom for a couple of hours...
